Please note, we are looking to increase our enrollment numbers for the 14U division. If you have questions about your team and/or placement, please feel free to reach out to westmorelandhockey@gmail.com. It is the goal of the WHA Board to hold a supplemental tryout in the near future in order to secure additional players on the various 14U rosters. Our season goal is to have two teams in the 14U age group. We understand that some folks may wish to look toward other organizations for the 2022-23 season, but we reiterate that our goal is to have two (2) teams at the 14U age group for the 2022-23 season.

WHA is excited to announce our 12U Girls team for the upcoming 2022-23 hockey season!

Information about registration and season dues will be coming soon.

The 12U Girls team is open to all female skaters with birth years 2010-2013. The team will be led by Coaches Tony Diorio and Brad Meyers. Each coach has a wealth of ice hockey experience to offer our skaters from their time as both players and coaches.

There will be an "open skate" for anyone who is registered or may be interested in playing next season. The open skate will take place on Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 10:40 am to 11:40 am at Kirk S. Nevin Arena in Greensburg. Our coaching staff and various WHA Board members will be present to answer questions, provide information and welcome new skaters. 

Prior ice hockey experience is not required. Beginner ice skating ability is encouraged, but may not be necessary depending on your skaters ability to learn and receive instruction.  

The team will have up to three (3) ice slots per week. Throughout the season, typically there will be one (1) weekday practice (Wednesdays) and one-to-two weekend ice slots which may consist of games and/or practices. The team will play in the Pittsburgh Area Hockey League (PAHL).
