WHA Little Eagles Hockey

WHA Little Eagles In-House Program

The Westmoreland Hockey Association "Little Eagles" Program is an in-house program designed for new and beginner level players who are looking to experience the sport of ice hockey. The Little Eagles program gives players a fun, safe and competitive playing atmosphere from ages 4 to 10 years old. Whether you are coming from the Little Pens Learn-to-Play program or you are a looking to have your child learn in a more structured environment, our program will give you the practice time necessary to advance your skills and enjoy the game of hockey! The Little Eagles operate as a feeder system for our WHA 8U Mite Program.

Little Eagles practices have moved to Wednesday evenings starting at 5:10 pm. This is a shared ice slot with the 8U Mite skaters. Westmoreland Hockey hopes that this change will allow In-House players to benefit from the coaching staff, developmental structure and station-based practices as implemented for our travel Mite program. Little Eagles players will participate at their own pace, as a group, and will not be expected to keep up with the Mite skaters.

  • Program begins on October 4, 2023 and continues through mid-March 2024.
